By accessing and using the MechByte Fleet platform and website, you agree to the following terms.
Use of the Platform
MechByte Fleet provides fleet monitoring, telematics analytics, and operational intelligence tools for businesses managing vehicle fleets in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Users must ensure that all data entered into the system is accurate, complete, and lawful. Unauthorised use of the platform — including attempts to bypass security controls, reverse engineer, or distribute platform components — is strictly prohibited.
Service Availability
While MechByte aims to provide continuous platform availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service at all times. Scheduled maintenance, platform updates, or third-party connectivity limitations may occasionally impact availability.
MechByte will make reasonable efforts to notify customers in advance of planned maintenance windows that may affect platform access.
Data Responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring that GPS devices, telematics hardware, and all connected equipment are installed and operated in compliance with local laws, regulations, and applicable standards in Saudi Arabia.
MechByte is not responsible for data inaccuracies resulting from faulty hardware, third-party device malfunctions, or connectivity interruptions outside our platform infrastructure.
Intellectual Property
All software, technology, platform components, and proprietary algorithms developed by MechByte remain the sole intellectual property of MechByte unless otherwise stated in a specific written agreement.
Customers retain ownership of their own fleet operational data and telematics records generated through use of the platform.
Limitation of Liability
MechByte shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the platform — including data loss, business disruption, or fleet incidents arising from reliance on platform outputs.
MechByte's total liability in connection with any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the customer in the three months preceding the claim.
Updates to Terms
MechByte reserves the right to update these terms when necessary to reflect changes to our services, platform capabilities, or applicable regulations in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Customers will be notified of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the MechByte Fleet platform following notification of updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
